Franz Ellis Merrell Memorial Trumpet Scholarship for the Hayes School of Music

To provide scholarship aid to a student within the Hayes School of Music whose primary instrument is the trumpet. Scholarship recipients should demonstrate a commitment to the highest standards of musical performance and demonstrate strong character and outstanding leadership potential. Tangible evidence of these qualities would include active involvement and leadership positions held in non-fraternal student and civic organizations, and in faith communities.
