Agnes Baldwin Whitener Memorial Orchestral Scholarship Endowment

This scholarship was created to memorialize a former Dean of the Appalachian State University music department, Dr. Nicholas Erneston, and his wife Elsie for their leadership and support over many years to the ASU symphony orchestra program. Funding shall provide scholarship support to two full-time symphony orchestra students in the Hayes School of Music: an outstanding woodwind player, and a string player (director’s choice).
