Borkowski Family Current Scholarship for Orchestral Excellence

To provide a scholarship award to student(s) who have completed two semesters in the Appalachian Symphony Orchestra. It is the Donors’ preference that applications for awards include an essay that describes: (1) how the applicant has influenced the musical success of the orchestra, and (2) how the applicant’s participation in the orchestra has benefited him or her. Awards are not renewable. Administration related to this scholarship is the responsibility of the Dean of the Hayes School of Music.
