Joan G. McKinney Endowed Memorial Scholarship for Teaching

To provide scholarship support to junior and senior Education majors (K-12) who plan to teach in the public school system. Preference shall be given to students who graduated from a high school located in Rockingham County, North Carolina. If no students in Rockingham County meet the requirements for the scholarship, a student who graduated from a high school in North Carolina may be selected. Recipients must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 in their major courses.
