SD Engaged Global Citizenship

Scholarship to support students majoring in Sustainable Development who are studying abroad, have an international internship opportunity, or have an international volunteer opportunity.

The Sustainable Development Department is committed to the university mission of preparing students to be engaged global citizens who understand their responsibilities for creating just and sustainable communities. Engaged citizenship can take many forms including organizing communities, increasing awareness on critical sustainability issues, and advocating for change at the local, regional, national, and global level. Engaged citizenship involves translating classroom lessons into practical social and political action. This fund seeks to strengthen student to create networks, attend events, participate in social actions and more. These funds may be used for, but not limited to travel, event support, supplies, and internships.
