The Sam Powers Endowment for Local Government Management

To provide scholarship support to a student that meets the following criteria, in order of priority:
1) An undergraduate student enrolled in the Public Administration program with a concentration in Town Administrator, City-County Management (TACCM).
2) A student enrolled in the Master of Public Administration program with a concentration in Town/County.
3) A student who has declared an interest in local government.

Preference shall accrue to students in good academic standing with financial need who plan to work in local government management. This scholarship is renewable. Administration related to this endowment is the responsibility of the Chair of the Department of Government and Justice Studies in consultation with the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences.
