Carter Firestarter Scholarship

To provide financial assistance to the outstanding undergraduate student employees within the Department of University Recreation. Four separate $500.00 scholarships will be awarded in the fall semester. Award recipients will be selected by the University Recreation Carter Firestarter Scholarship Committee. Recipients must: 1) exhibit overall excellence in work performance, academic record and co-curricular achievements, 2) be current, full-time students, 3) be current student employees of University Recreation, 4) be in good standing with a minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average, and 5) continue employment for University Recreation during the fall in which the scholarship is awarded.
