Dr. A" James Avant Alpha Tau Omega Memorial Scholarship

To provide support to students who are initiated members of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity. Awards are not renewable. Preference in the selection of recipients should accrue to students who have achieved a minimum grade point average of 3.0 and have demonstrated notable service to the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity. In the event that Alpha Tau Omega fraternity is not an active organization on the campus of Appalachian State University, non-renewable awards shall be directed to full-time students who are initiated members of an active fraternity or sorority on the campus of Appalachian State University.
