Elmer R. White Jazz Trumpet Scholarship Endowment

To provide scholarship support for trumpet performers. Applicants need not be majoring in music. Applicants will be required to audition and should possess musical skills and musicianship of the highest caliber in trumpet performance as determined by the Director of Jazz Studies. The recipient must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 and a minimum GPA of 3.0 in their music curriculum if the recipient is a music major. The recipient must also register for Jazz Ensemble 1 and one semester hour of trumpet lessons each semester, unless the Director of Jazz Studies gives consent otherwise.
