To encourage future studies of students with exceptional talent in mathematical sciences. to recognize outstanding achievement in the mathematical sciences, and to promote academic excellence.

Eligible students must major within the Department of Mathematical Sciences and are expected to attain junior-level standing following semester when the award is made.
